Career & College Counselor
Astana Garden School | Aug 2023 - Present
Working with high school students from grades 8 to 11 on professional development and university application preparation. Teaching College Counselling lessons to grades 9 & 10. Working with students individually by guiding them through career choice, university selection and application processes. So far, my students got into some of the great universities in UK, UAE, and Qatar. Menting a students-lead TEDx Club in organizing school wide events. Developed a Telegram bot for school staff.

SPRING 2022 - Carnegie Mellon University Qatar
Co-developed a quizzing web system for QCRI (Qatar Computing Research Institute). Implementation - MVC model on PHP, using a Docker container and MySQL.
APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
SPRING 2021 - Carnegie Mellon University Qatar
Developed a web application for interactive student quizzing as a course project. Used Ruby on Rails, Git, GitHub, SQLite, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Developed an API for the application.
NLP | DATA SCIENCE PROJECT
FALL 2021 - Carnegie Mellon University Qatar
Co-developed an AI algorithm for an abstractive text summarization on Python using Deep Neural Networks and Seq2Seq models. Co-developed a hand-sign recognition algorithm. Made research on depression detection in social media.
DATABASE COURSE PROJECT

Co-developed an online interactive ticketing system for FIFA 2022 as a course project. Was responsible for allowing users to register, login, see all the available matches, book a match and track the purchases; allowing admin user to perform all CRUD operations via web interface on matches, users, and purchases. Used HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and SQL for the implementation.
